Nomadict is in the water!

 Nomadicat is in the water!!

It’s not finished…and we’re not motoring around the English Channel yet, but we’re getting closer.  The Nomadicat is in the water! 

The night before they were up until 1a rolling her out of the boat shed - widening doors, taking down masts, etc.

to get her out the door.  Then a massive crane

was brought in the day after and at high tide, Nomadicat went in the water.   Then they used the same crane to hoist the two massive batteries up to the foredeck.  

We still need solar panels, cork floor boards for the aft and a bunch of testing.  But as I said, we’re getting very close and this was a big milestone!! 

The blow up catamaran tender

with electric motor is also in the water and Marilyn and I are beginning to experiment with our slow speed navigational skills ;-).
